1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Dropify Plaza processes information when merchants and customers use Dropify Checkout and related services.
2. Information we may process
Depending on merchant configuration, we may process information required to operate checkout safely, including mobile number, customer name, delivery address, email where required for payment processing, cart and order details, checkout activity, payment-status metadata, merchant/store identifiers and technical data used to secure the service.
3. OTP verification
Mobile numbers may be used to send or validate one-time passwords for transactional customer verification during checkout. OTP messages are not intended for promotional marketing.
4. Address reuse
After verification of the same mobile number, Dropify may securely surface eligible previously used or saved delivery addresses to that verified customer to reduce repeated data entry. Address information is not exposed as an open directory to unrelated merchants.
5. Payments
Online payments and Partial COD advances are processed by the merchant's selected payment gateway. Dropify Plaza does not store card numbers, UPI PINs or banking passwords. We may process transaction references and payment-status metadata required to safely confirm an order.
6. How information is used
- Provide and secure checkout functionality.
- Verify customers and reduce misuse.
- Create, reconcile and support orders.
- Provide saved-address and checkout-recovery functionality where applicable.
- Operate reliability, diagnostics and merchant support systems.
7. Merchant responsibilities
Connected merchants remain responsible for their storefront policies, product sales, fulfilment, shipping, returns, refunds and information they independently collect outside Dropify Checkout.
8. Data security
Dropify uses access controls, encryption where applicable, server-side verification and other technical safeguards designed to protect checkout information.
